The only thing that bugs me a bit after some people told me its better to go for the 600 cfm carb is this: (Extracted from the Edelbrock site) "Designed for small-block and small displacement big-block engines, these carbs are recommended only for stock to Performer level applications. The two carburetors I am looking at is either the Edelbrock Performer 600cfm or the Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS 650 cfm. Also I just need to mention that everything else is stock on the enjine (350/5.7l) I have been looking at two options, but can't really see why some would say the one is better than the other. I am installing a Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifold and want to know what is the best carburettor to get. I have a couple of questions regarding the carb that I need to get for my Vortec enjine. ![]()
